  • (Providing treatment service in English & French) Victoria Goodman graduated from McMaster University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she completed her M.Sc. in Global Health and Development at University College London and her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. Victoria has completed several post-graduate training courses in soft tissue release techniques, acupuncture, orthopaedic manual therapy, spinal cord injury management, and athletic taping. She is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and is a member of the Orthopaedic, Neurosciences, Pain Science and Sports Physiotherapy divisions of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Victoria’s approach to physiotherapy treatment involves empowering patients through collaborative goal-setting and the use of manual therapy, soft tissue techniques and home exercises to promote wellness. She is a firm believer in evidence-based practice, and strives to combine the best available evidence with clinical experience and patient values to create holistic rehabilitation programs that are both effective and fun. In her spare time, Victoria enjoys hiking with her dog, lifting weights, cycling, and traveling abroad. We provide referrals to physicians, specialists, and other healthcare practitioners experienced in orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, etc

  • Kamal obtained his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from a university in India in 1999. He became a Registered Chartered Physiotherapist from Health Professional Council, London in 2002, and received his license from the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario in 2008. He gained tremendous experience in Neurology as well as musculoskeletal diseases by working as a Junior and Senior Physiotherapist respectively in various clinical settings throughout his professional career in National Health Services UK. His career began working at Bombay Hospital & Medical Research Centre where he specialized in acute as well as chronic Orthopaedic, Cardiovascular diseases management. He enjoys keeping up to date with developments in his field by reading books, journals, and blogs.

  • Darryl runs clinics out of West End Physiotherapy - 2 times per month. Since graduating with a Master of Science from the University of Toronto in 2006, Darryl has practiced as an orthopaedic physiotherapist. In 2008, he completed his Master of Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy at Western University. He has been a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists since 2009. Darryl is the clinical operations manager for West End Physiotherapy. His role is to ensure the therapists are accountable for the delivery of high quality services within a patient-centered model of care. He is also accountable for the clinical and business development for the clinic. Darryl continues to work clinically in a consultant model with orthopaedic and neurosurgeons to enhance the patient experience and triage to the right person, in the right place, at the right time. Darryl dedicates time educating and mentoring physiotherapists. Another passion of his is to facilitate the new graduate transition from student to entry-level clinician and encourage a positive initial work experience. Darryl has received awards to acknowledge his service as a physiotherapist providing excellence in learning, guidance, supervision and inspiration to physiotherapy students.

  • Steve Keown graduated with honours in 2010 from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He has been working at West End Physiotherapy since August of 2011. When Steve isn't working hard to help you get better he enjoys playing sports, camping and helping lead youth programs at his church.

  • Sarah is a Certified Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She graduated with honours from Sheridan College, Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in 2010 with a Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences (Athletic Therapy) Degree. After years of working in many multi-disciplinary clinics Sarah was eager to expand her knowledge and further develop her skills. She completed the Advanced Massage Therapy program at the Ontario College of Health and Technology in Stoney Creek in 2014, where she completed her Diploma in Massage Therapy. Sarah has completed continuing education courses in the areas of Visceral Manipulation and Craniovertebral Assessment and Treatment. Sarah enjoys utilizing skills she has learned from both professions to develop a more comprehensive treatment program for her clients. On top of her clinical duties she has also spent the past 4 years working as a Lab Instructor in the Kinesiology program at McMaster University.

  • Callie comes to West End Physio with an array of skills and knowledge from her years in the marathon and triathlon community. “I have witnessed first hand the stress that high performance training has on the body. I have experienced and treated many of them.” Callie was drawn to massage therapy while studying Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. “For the first time I sought out Massage Therapy for a recurring hamstring injury, and I was blown away by the practical knowledge that this Therapist had, it changed my career path and set me off on a whole new life direction.” Callie’s love of athleticism continues today, you will find her swimming, riding the trails, running the stairs or doing fitness in the park. She loves to teach people about fitness, and incorporates that knowledge into her Massage Therapy treatments. Her newest interest is the amazing benefits that Pilates has on everyday functioning. She looks forward to meeting you, and hearing about your story.

    Callie Parsons, Registered Massage Therapist

  • Kristin is a Registered Massage Therapist and a Certified Athletic Therapist. Kristin has been working as an Athletic Therapist for 7 years both with sports teams and in the clinic treating athletic injuries, as well as everyday injuries. In 2016 she decided to expand her knowledge and completed the Advanced Massage Therapy program at the Ontario College of Health and Technology and became a Massage Therapist in 2017. Now, Kristin uses a variety of General Swedish Massage techniques in her treatment such as fascial work, trigger point release as well as joint mobilizations. She combines her knowledge from both areas of study in order to find the source of the pain and plan specific treatments for each patient, including some home exercises that may help with recovery. She has also completed several continuing education courses over the last few years such as Visceral Manipulation, Craniosacral therapy and Soft Tissue Release and incorporates it all into her practice. In her spare time, Kristin likes to play ultimate frisbee and run, as well as relax with her family.

  • Dr. Wayne Jerome is a chiropractor at West End Physiotherapy. He is a graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). Prior to attending CMCC, Dr. Jerome studied at McMaster University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He has been providing patient-centered chiropractic care, which is a hands-on health care discipline in the Hamilton area since 1986. He has worked with several local sport teams including the Hamilton Hurricane Junior Football team and the Hamilton Thunder Soccer team. Dr. Jerome practices diversified chiropractic technique which involves manual therapies, including spinal and extremity manipulation as well as lifestyle and rehabilitation recommendations. Dr. Jerome’s goal is to reduce pain, improve function, and educate patients so they may achieve and maintain their best quality of life.

  • After 10 years in Human Services in the US and 6 years of retail in Canada, Jennifer was ready for a change. She is very excited to blend the best of both of her previous experiences and bring her customer service skills as well as her knowledge of assisting those in need to her new home at West End Physiotherapy. She enjoys working with people and in the West End Physio team environment.
