Meet Our Team!

  • David Tait1

    David Tait graduated with a degree in neuroscience from the University of Toronto, and then a Masters degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. He has more than 10 years experience working in rehabilitation within the Hamilton/Burlington region. He has completed extensive courses in the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program, Manual Therapy, and McKenzie theory. He has worked closely with local surgeons specializing in spinal dysfunction, trauma, and large joint repair/replacement.

  • Amanda Deleebeeck (3)

    Amanda DeLeebeeck graduated with high honours from the Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences (Athletic Therapy) program at Sheridan College in April of 2012. After becoming a fully certified Athletic Therapist, Amanda went on to study Massage Therapy at the Ontario College of Health and Technology followed by Contemporary Medical Acupuncture at McMaster University. During the process she also obtained her First Responder qualifications. Amanda is now a very versatile therapist and is able to offer Athletic Therapy, Registered Massage Therapy and acupuncture within her treatments.

  • Stephen Keown

    Steve Keown graduated with honours in 2010 from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He has been working at West End Physiotherapy since August of 2011. When Steve isn't working hard to help you get better he enjoys playing sports, camping and helping lead youth programs at his church.

    Jessica Mitro received her bachelors of Health Sciences in Athletic Therapy from Sherdian College. Previous to that, she graduated from Georgian College's Massage Therapy program. She wants to continue to enhance her education with taking courses in manual therapy and acupunture. Jessica believe that the therapist needs to educate the patients and give them skills they need to effectively reach their rehabilitation goals. Outside of the clinic, Jessica enjoys playing volleyball, being active , traveling and hanging out with friends and family.

  • Angela Weekes

    Angela Weekes has worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant since 1988. In the past she has worked with Physiotherapists in both a Community Clinic and a Nursing Home setting. She loves her job very much, making her patients happy and ensuring they receive the best care is vital for Angela. She believes that team work facilitates strong customer service, and this is the key to patient care. Angela’s time outside of work is about socializing, watching sports, organizing bus trips, cooking, baking and being active in her church!
